Death of John H. Miller.
Tuesday August 27, at his home on Maiden Lane occurred the death of John H. Miller, death being caused by two weeks’ of Bright’s disease.
Mr. Miller was born in Ohio May 18, 1845. He lived in Ohio till 1853, when he moved to Winnesheik{sp} Co. He lived there till 1882 with the exception of one year in the early seventies, which he spent in Chicago as a storekeeper. In l882 he moved to Howard county and worked there as a wagon maker and carpenter nearly 14 years. He then moved to Kansas where he spent a year. During the last 12 years he has lived in Winnesheik{sp} county. The remains were taken to Cresco for burial. — Decorah Journal.
