Mrs. Samuel R. Kellow Dead.
Mrs. S. R. Kellow passed away last Friday at her home in St. Paul, Minn., after a long illness. Over two years ago she suffered a complete breakdown from an attack of nervous prostration, from which she never fully recovered. About a year ago she visited in Cresco and from that time her decline was gradual until her death.
Sarah J. McNamara was born at Allen’s Grove, Wisconsin, December 12, 1859, and passed away at 6:45 in the morning of August 7th, aged 48 years 7 months and 25 days.
Dec. 17, 1881, at Cresco, she was united in marriage to S. R. Kellow. To this union was born a little daughter, Leone, June 3, 1883, who passed away October 9, 1889.
Funeral services were held at the home on Monday, the 10th, and the remains brought to Cresco for interment the day following, and placed at rest beside the little daughter in Oak Lawn.
To mourn her loss, in addition to the husband, she leaves a mother, Mrs. M. James, of Cresco, a sister, Lizzie, of St. Paul, and three brothers, Gordon, John and William. They have the sincere sympathy of all their Cresco friends m their sad bereavement
