C. E. Fields received a telegram on Wednesday announcing the death that morning of the younger daughter, aged about six years, of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Fields at their home at Hoopeston, Illinois. Death resulted from complications following an attack of scarlet fever. The funeral will occur today at Hoopeston.
