OBITUARY.
Elmer Williams, the oldest son of E. J. and Sarah M. Williams, was born August 9, 1891, died February 5, 1908.
He was in regular attendance at the Lime Spring High School, a member of the Sophomore class. He was a bright active boy and held in high esteem by his class mates. Although not possessed of a strong constitution he had grown somewhat stronger during recent months and gave promise of growing to manhood and a useful life. His being called away is a blow to the family, school and community. The last sickness was of very short duration and before many of the friends were aware of Elmer’s condition, death came.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers and sisters. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. E. A. Lang, who was assisted by Rev. Gammons of Cresco and Rev. Griffith of Lime Spring was held in the M. E. church of Lime Spring, February 7, 1908.
