Oliver G. Munson sends us a copy of Viroqua (Wis.) Censor containing a notice of the death of his daughter Helen, who passed away on Sunday evening January 26th, as the result of severe burns received just three weeks previously, while in the act of replenishing the furnace fire in the basement of the family home. It is supposed that draft at the open door sucked in her apron and that in a moment her cotton dress was ablaze. Her life was despaired of during the first 24 hours after the accident but as time progressed it was thought that she might survive, but too large a surface had been burned to permit recovery. The deceased was 24 years of age.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in Viroqua Cemetery in Viroqua WI. She was born November 22, 1884 and died January 26, 1908.
