Mr. John W. Williams was born at Hermon, Anglesea, North Wales, Aug. 25, 1828. He came to America in the year 1854, locating at Cambria, Wis., in 1858. Was united in marriage with Miss Jane Jones of Anglesea, Wales. Five children were born to to{sic} them, two sons and three daughters. He became united with the Welsh Presbyterian church in 1860, leaving Cambria in 1867 and locating on a farm at Bristol, Minn., at which place Mrs. Williams died in 1889. In 1894 Mr. Williams retired from the farm and located at Lime Springs, Iowa, where he has lived a peaceful quiet life till he was called home Sunday, a. m. December 8, 1907.
He leaves to mourn his loss one brother, three sisters, one son, three daughters, nine grandchildren and three great grand children.Transcriber’s Note: Find A Grave shows he is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery; however, they show a different date of birth.
