Frank Snopek pased{sic} away on Saturday at his home on Market street as the result of an attack of pneumonia after an illness of only about a week. The remains were taken this morning to Protivin for interment.

SNOPEK.
Frank J. Snopek was born August 4, 1869 in Bohemia, and died at his home in Cresco on Saturday, December 14, 1907, aged 38 years 4 months and 10 days. At the age of six months he came with his parents to the United States, making their home at Spillville, Iowa, for seven years, afterward moving to Manly, Iowa.
On April 28, 1896, at Protivin, Iowa, he was married to Miss Mary Prochaska, and for seven years they made their home on a farm near Manly, Iowa, where they resided four years before moving to Cresco which has since been their home. The deceased was the father of two sons, Leonard and Charles, who with their mother mourn deeply the loss of a most kind and affectionate husband and father.
The funeral took place on Monday at Protivin, Iowa, and was one of the most largely attended funerals ever held in that place, testifying to the general esteem in which the deceased was held:
Mr. Snopek was a beneficiary member of the Bohemian Catholic Workmen.

The body of Frank Snopek who died at his home in Cresco on Saturday, Dec. 14th, was brought to Protivin for burial. The funeral took place at the Catholic church Tuesday, Dec. 17th, and the remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
