Richard E. Davis passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27th. The funeral was held at the Foreston church on Thursday, Rev. R. V. Griffith officiating. He was laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
OBITUARY:—Richard E, Davis was born Nov. 10, 1837, at Dyffryn, Clarachnear Aberystwuth Cardigan Shire, South Wales, and emigrated to the United States in 1855, at the age of 18 years. December 29, 1885, he was united in marriage with Mary Hughes, and departed life Feb. 27, 1907. Those who remain to mourn his loss are his wife, two sons and two daughters.
