Henry O’Reilly passed away last Friday night at the Prairie du Chien hospital where he went a few weeks ago to take treatment, death coming somewhat unexpectedly. He was buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, yesterday morning, with the funeral from the Church of the Assumption.

OBITUARY.
REILLY:
Henry O. Reilly was born in County Cork, Ireland, April 18, 1827, and died at the Prairie du Chien, Wis. Hospital on July 13, 1908, aged 79 years, 2 months and 25 days.
He came to America when 15 years of age, and to Cresco in 1860, and has lived in the one place, his hotel building, ever since.
He was the father of nine children, six of whom live to mourn his death, his wife having preceded him in death but a few weeks.
The funeral was held Monday from the Church of the Assumption, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: His last name is spelled Reilly and O’Reilly – probably because his middle initial was O.
