Hugh Rowland, an old resident of Forest City township, living east of Lime Springs, pased{sic} away Sunday, after a long illness.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Pleasant Hill Cemetery shows the spelling of his name as Rowlands and his birth date as November 23, 1840. And his date of death of April 30, 1906.
