Mrs. Beadle Dead.
Mrs. Eliza M. Beadle, died Friday afternoon about 2 o'clock at her home in Cresco after a long illness during which she made a hard and painful struggle for life, and it seemed at times as though she would be victorious.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at the residence at 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. Elsworth, an Episcopal clergyman from Faribault, Minn., and Rev. C. A. Marshall.
By the death of Mrs. Beadle, another gap is made in the fast thinning ranks of the early settlers and pioneers of Howard county, by whom she will be sadly missed, as well as by others, later comers and those of younger years who have known her warm welcome and cheerful hospitality.
Her remains will be laid to rest beside her husband in Oak Lawn cemetery.Source: Twice-A-Week Plain Dealer May 5, 1905, FP, C7
