DIED—Saturday, March 25th, John Hosek, near Protivin, and was buried in Protivin Cemetery on Monday, March 27th. The deceased was in robust health and was 54 years old. The cause of his death was an internal injury caused from slipping on ice.

Transcriber's Note: His gravestone shows he was born in 1850.
