Iva E. Taft, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen E. Taft, was born Aug. 11th, 1901, and died very suddenly without suffering from illness, Dec. 14th at 4:30 a. m., aged 4 months and 5 days. The funeral was held at the house, Dec. 15th at 2:00 o’clock, con-ducted by Rev. Holmes. Remains were laid to rest in New Oregon Cemetery.

We loved her.yes, we loved her,
But Angels loved her more;
And they have sweetly called her
To yonder golden shore.
