Mrs. Elizabeth E. Kline died rather unexpectedly last Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Beadle. She has been quite feeble for some time but had been up and about until possibly an hour before her death. The deceased was about 72 years of age. The funeral will be at the house this afternoon. We will give an obituary notice later.

Walter Kline and wife and Louis Chapman came down from Minneapolis to attend the funeral of Mrs. Kline and are remaining for a few days visit with relatives and acquaintances.

M. A. Kline was called from his work at Clermont by the death of his mother and will remain in Cresco for a few days.

Mrs. D. S. Kline Dead.
The people were greatly surprised to learn that Mrs. D. S. Kline had suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at about 8 o’clock Saturday evening, October 26th. The maiden name of deceased was Louisa E. Zuegner. She was a native of Zweibucken, Germany, born September 29, 1829, married at Pottsville, Pennsylvania, February 2S, 1850, to Daniel S. Kline, and with her husband and family came to Cresco to reside about thirty years ago. Mr. Kline died here about twenty years ago. Six children were born to them, four of which survive, viz.: M. A. Kline, Mrs. A. W. Gillette and Mrs. John H. Beadle, of Cresco, and Walter Z. Kline, of Minneapolis. The deceased was one of the good motherly women who make a paradise of their homes and are loved and prized most by those who know them best. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the home of John H. Beadle where she had made her home and where she died and her remains were deposited by the side of her husband in Oak Lawn.
