Obituary,
Freeman Moulton, youngest son of Freeman and Carrie Moulton, was born Jan. 1874, and departed this life April 24, 1901 at 5:30 a. m., of internal hemorrage of the lungs.
Most of his life has been spent at Canton, S.D., but at the time of his death was a student at Mitchell College, S. D. As his death was unexpected his youngest sister was the only relative who was with him, as the doctor pronounced him out of danger, a short time before his death. Oh! how sad for that sister, as they were constant companions, and where one was, the other was sure to be, and the last two years have attended college together.
He will be remembered here as he attended the Cresco Normal two years ago while on a visit to his cousins, W. F. and J. R. Moulton.
Besides his parent he leaves one brother and three sisters to mourn his loss, besides a large circle of relatives and friends who will always miss his dear face and kind words.
Freeman (as he was called by all who knew him) was a faithful member of the Methodist church and was fully prepared to meet his Saviour, and we hope to meet him on the other shore.
He was burried at their home cemetery, at Canton, by the side of a brother who was called home a few years ago.

Dearest Freeman you, have left us.
Left us here to mourn thy loss,
But 'tis God who has bereft us.
He will all our sorrows share
F. E. M.
