OBITUARY.
ALLEMAN.
The Cresco acquaintances of the E. J. Alleman family were inexpressibly shocked to hear of the death of their eldest son, Kenneth, at their home in Oelwein, Ia., last Friday, from heart failure following an attack of inflamatory rheumatism.
Kenneth Stratton Alleman was born June 18, 1894, at Waterloo, Ia., which place was his home until he was about eight years of age when with his parents he moved to Waverly, Ia., where they remained for one year coming from there to Cresco. He went with his parents several months ago, where he died Dec. 16, 1904.
The remains were brought to Cresco Monday for interment in the New Oregon Cemetery; the funeral being held from the residence of W. O. Patterson in the afternoon, Rev. John Gammons officiating.
Kenneth was an amiable child who made many friends among his play mates while in Cresco, a number of whom were present at his funeral.
The sorrowing parents and brother have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavment.{sic}

On Saturday morning of last week at Oelwein Iowa, Kenneth, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Alleman, died from inflammatory rheumatism. The remains were brought to Decorah Saturday evening and on Monday taken to Cresco, Mr. Alleman’s boyhood home, for burial. Kenneth was a bright little fellow of ten years and his death leaves a vacant place in the home and a grief that time will not heal. The Decorah friends of Mr. and Mrs. Alleman extend sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
