Sudden Death.
Mrs. Maurice Gregory died very unexpectedly Wednesday evening at about 7 o’clock, after an illness of only some 20 minutes, caused by a blood clot in the heart.
The deceased gave birth to a little daughter about two weeks ago, and was seemingly recovering very satisfactorily, and just a few minutes before being taken ill, remarked to those with her that she was feeling strong enough to go to work. Suddenly she threw her head back and complained of feeling faint. She was laid upon the bed and Dr. Kessel was summoned, but she never regained consciousness or spoke again. The funeral will take place at the Church of the Assumption in Cresco, Saturday morning.
