Mrs. John Brynes died Sunday morning about 1 o’clock at the Arlington house, in Cresco, after a long illness. The funeral took place from the Church of the Assumption yesterday afternoon.

OBITUARY.
Mrs. Mary McCarville Byrnes, oldest daughter of Thomas and Margaret McCarville, was born in Howard Co., Ia. the 15th day of October, 1875; was educated at the Visitation Convent, Dubuque.
She was married to John Byrnes eight short years ago and leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband, a son 4 years old, father, mother, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Was buried from the Church of the Assumption, Monday afternoon, funeral services conducted by Rev. M. A. McCarthy, interment at Joseph’s Cemetery.
During the two years of her illness she bore her sufferings in a patient and christian-like manner, always saying, “God’s will be done.’’
