Mrs. John Daly, formerly Mrs. Gallagher died at her home near the county line in the south part of New Oregon, Aug. 6, aged about 85 years. She was the mother of C. E. Gallagher in Elma and of Mrs. Geo. Smith, residing near the late home of the deceased. Mrs. Daly was one of the early settlers of the county.
