“We regret to announce the death of James M. Brown, who enlisted from New Oregon into the 7th Iowa Infantry in January last. He died in hospital at Rome, Ga., about the first of Sept., and was aged about 22 years. He leaves a wife, together with a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his untimely end.”
