Obituary,
Orvilla E. Miller was born in Vermont about the year 1829, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. N. Wentworth in Cresco, Dec. 3, 1902, aged about 73 years. Some 54 years ago she was united to marriage with John Hamilton who preceded her to the better world several years ago. Her brothers are V. R. Miller of Mc Gregor, E. R Miller of Cresco and S. A. Mille rof Lime Spring. Her surviving children are S. A. Hamilton, Mrs. A. N. Wentworth of Cresco, Wm. R. Hamilton of Madison S. D , and Mrs. A. P. Fribble of Huron S. D.
Deceased had been a resident of this county something over thirty-five years, locating on a farm in Paris township a few miles east of Lourdes. She had been in usual health until about two weeks ago. Her funeral is from the Methodist Episcopal church Friday afternoon, interment in Oaklawn. A good, christian woman gone to her reward.
