A telegram received by friend from Fon du Lac, Wis., Wednesday last, stated that the aged father of Mrs. E. A. Stimpson, passed away to the better land Tuesday morning. Mr. Kendall’s death was the result of a fall about a week ago. The funeral occurred Thursday morning from the old home which he built and has occupied for 50 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, but Mrs. Stimpson of his Immediate family, his wife having preceded him to the spirit land ten years ago, a daughter dying about a year ago, and his only son having given up his life In his country’s service. The deceased was in his 90th year and was a man of sterling worth, standing high in the estimation of all who knew him. Mrs. Stimpson has faithfully cared for her aged parent for the past twelve years and has the deepest sympathy of all in her affliction.
