KILLED AT RICEVILLE.
Frank Marburger Dies from the Result of a Kick.
On Friday last Frank Marburger, a farm hand employed by D. B. Davis, on the old Cutting farm 1-1/2 miles east of Rlceville, became involved in a quarrel with Joe Mulick, it being alleged that Marburger was the aggressor. They were parted but the day following the quarrel was renewed, with the result that Mulick gave Marburger a violent kick in the abdomen which aggravated a rupture of previous standing and resulted in his dying on Sunday morning at 7:00. The deceased had worked for Mr. Davis for several years, but his home was at Green Island, Iowa, where his remains were taken on Monday for burial. Mr. Mulick has given bonds for an appearance next Friday for his preliminary hearing. It is a very unfortunate affair whatever may be its legal outcome.

Transcriber's Note: Find-A-Grave shows he was born in 1878 and died September 21, 1902.
