Nellie Cashman Dies.
Many friends are mourning the sad and untimely death of Nellie Cashman, the bright and talented daughter of John Cashman, a prominent farmer northwest of town. Her death took place Monday, March 17th, and the body was interred at St. Cecelia, the following Wednesday, Death was due to pneumonia.
Nellie was-eighteen years of age and of a bright, winsome disposition, which made every acquaintance a friend. She was the idol of her parents and her taking away will cause the hearts of many to bleed with bitterest sorrow. May these aggrieved ones be consoled, for in the life to come there is greater joy, a more sublime peace and purer happiness than the most favored on earth enjoy. May the hope that in that life they may meet the departed one, buoy them up and lead them to so live that when the summons shall come, they will be ready for the journey that leads to that mysterious beyond, where lives the Ruler of the universe.— Elma Vidette.
