DE N0YELLES
Peter De Noyelles was born in Schoharie county, New York, June 8, 1828, and died at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Geo. Sever, Jan. 26, 1902, aged 73 years, 7 months and 18 days. In 1848, he was married to Elizabeth Vorst, and to them five children were born all of whom preceded him in death, but 11 grand children survive him. The deceased served in the army the last nine months of the civil war. In 1873 he and his family came to Cresco where they have since resided. The funeral was held from his late home on Tuesday, Jan. 28, Rev. Gammons officiating, the interment being in New Oregon cemetery.
