Died-
HANSON—In Orleans, Dec. 14, 1900, Hattie, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Hanson, aged 6 months and 9 days.
Dear Hattie now has left us,
but she has only gone before;
She has left a world of sorrow,
All troubles now are o’er.
For she has entered the heavenly portals
And is with the blessed one;
She is now a heavenly angel,
Her task on earth is done.
Jesus only lent her to us
To remain a little while;
He knows her many virtues,
How her heart was free from guile.
And ye who mourn for Hattie,
Look now to God, alone;
You will soon be with your darling,
Around the great white throne.
We must put our trust in Jesus,
And do as he has bidden,
So when our cares are o’er,
We may enter the realms of heaven.

Transcriber’s Note: Oak Lawn Cemetery indicates she is buried there and that her given name was Harriet Ellen.
