Mrs. Adams died, {portion missing} Florenceviile, Mon {portion missing}ried from the M, {portion missing} one of a pair of twin g{portion missing} died recently in New York. Her maiden name was Cordelia A. Jones and she was born March 1, 1821, in Brandon, Rutland county, Vt.; was united in marriage with Wm. E. Adams Nov. 8,1844. Together with three little children in the year 1865. they sought a home in the far west, and in May of that year they arrived in this neighborhood and permanently settled. In. three short months the homesick mother was called upon to part with her youngest child, a boy two and a half years old whose little body she prepared for its last resting place with her own hands. The father also making Frankie’s little casket himself. Those were dark and gloomy days for them, but time, the great healer brought relief in the birth of another child, a daughter. In 1894, Mr. and Mrs. Adams celebrated their golden wedding aniversary{sic}. After outliving many of her pioneer friends, those made dear by common hardship, she has passed to the great beyond, there to again clasp hands with them. She leaves a husband (with whom she has spent 50 years of wedded life), one son, two daughters, three grand-children and one great-grandchild to mourn her loss. That she was a faithful, loving wife, a kind and indulgent parent, and beloved by all who knew her; there are yet many of her old neighbors left to bear us witness,
