Word was received here Monday of the death that day by suicide—shooting himself, of Charley Martin, a son of John Martin, who lives west of Vernon. The deceased was teaching school near St. Ansgar.

Transcriber’s Note: Oak Lawn Cemetery records indicate he is buried there and was born October 29, 1872.
