JOHNSON- Willie Emery Johnson, only son of Emery and Alta Johnson, was born June 9, 1898, and died August 10, 1899, aged 1 year 2 months and 1 day.
For twelve weeks Willie has been a sufferer, beginning with whooping cough, other complications following resulted in death, He dwells today where no sickness is known.
Dying in the same hour with his aunt, Maud Chapel, it was a double bereavement to his parents.
The funeral services were held at the same time with his aunt’s, on Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church conducted by Pastor F. P. Shaffer. The precious little one was laid away in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
