“John Thomson dead In London.”
Robt. Thomson received the above mesage{sic} Monday a. m., April 24. His brother was here about a month ago and went to Europe with his wife in hope of recovering his health. John Thomson was born in Murkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland, in 1845. Came to Milwaukee 30 years ago. Lived at Bay View for several years; has been in charge of the Mitchell Building and Chamber of Commerce, Milwaukee, since they were built; received position from the late Alex. Mitchell 25 years ago. His brother Robt. expects that his wife will immediately return with the body to this country and be buried in Forrest Home cemetery, Milwaukee, beside his daughter Maggie.
