Services held tor David Rassman
David Rassman of Minneapolis, MN, 54, died suddenly Thursday, September 6, 2001 of a massive heart attack. Interment was in Fort Calhoun Cemetery in Fort Calhoun, NE.
David was born and raised in Cresco where he was confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and graduated from Cresco High School in 1964. He attended Dana College in Bennington, NE, Minneapolis College of Art and Design and The Atelier in Minneapolis.
His works of art are on display in public places in Cresco and many other locations. Some works have been shown in the Minneapolis Institute of Art; and in the Cresco Annual Art Fair, where he often received first place.
David owned a painting and wallpaper business called “A Bright New Look,” specializing in faux and freehand painting, and work with colors and murals.
He is survived by one brother: Larry of Omaha, NE; and one sister: Diane Rassman of Newport, MN.
David was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Virginia Rassman; and one sister: Vivian Allen.
