Memorial services for Harry Larsen, of California, a native of Lime Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12 at Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church. Oakmont Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
Harry, 85, died Friday, July 6, 2001 while salmon fishing off the Marin County coastline.
Harry E. Larsen was born October 11, 1916. After receiving his degree in civil engineering from the University of California Berkeley in 1948, he worked in marine construction for over 50 years.
He loved vegetable gardening and salmon fishing.
Harry is survived by his wife Virginia; children: Carol, Jean, John, and Anne; 11 granddaughters; sisters: Edna Mae, Grace, and Shirley; and one brother: Albert.
