FORT ATKINSON - Angela Kuhn, 82, rural Fort Atkinson, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah after a short illness. It was Angie's request to have her body donated to the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
A Memorial Mass was held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Spillville with Rev. Donald Hawes presiding. Music was provided by Mary Beth Bouska as organist accompanying Dan Silhacek as soloist.
Interment was in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Protivin.
Angela Annie Kuhn was born on June 2, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Caroline (Bouska) Klimesh on a farm near Protivin. She attended the Rudolphinum High School in Protivin. She married Peter Kuhn on Nov. 7, 1939 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Protivin. She raised chickens on the farm for many years and later worked for Graphics in Calmar for 20 years. She was an active member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed her cats, playing bingo, traveling, reading and going on drives.
Survivors include her husband, Peter; two sisters, Mary Klimesh, Waucoma and Caroline (Bryan) Brown, Forest Park, IL and one brother, Edward Klimesh, Waucoma.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Frank Klimesh.
