Miss Nellie Roche returned from California a little over a week ago and is now very ill with an attack of typhoid-malarial fever.

LATER—Since the above was in type, death has come to her relief, the passing away yesterday morning. The family have the sympathy of all in their latest bereavment,{sic} which must come with added sorrow so soon after their recent bereavment.{sic}

Roche - Nellie M. Roche, aged 17 years and 9 months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Roche of Cresco, Iowa, died April lst 1897, of typhoid malaria.
She spent the past year in Los Angeles, Cal., and returned home two weeks previous to her death.
