Frank Howe son of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Howe, died Monday morning and will be buried Tuesday, the funeral being from the house. He had been in declining health and a great sufferer for the latter years of his life, death coming as a happy release.

HOWE.—Died in Cresco, February 1, 1897, Franklin H., son of Philip C. and Melissa Howe, aged 31 years 4 months and 19 days.
Deceased was born in Albion twp., July 12, 1865. He had been unable to perform any manual labor for more than six years, owing to pulmonary troubles. He had been married, his wife having died some three years since. They left no children.

We desire to express to our friends who gave us aid and comfort in the hour of affliction at the death and burial of our son Franklin, our unfeigned thanks.
