Charles Roche son of Wm. H. Roche died at the home of his parents in Cresco, of consumption, October 23, 1896, aged 19 years and 11 months. Mr. Roche went to Los Angeles, California, for the improvement of the health of his family but obtaining no relief he returned with them to Cresco two months ago bringing his loved one home to die. It is a sore trial for them, and the unavailing sympathy of the public goes out to the afflicted family.
