Luwane Gaul, 80, of rural Cresco, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Cresco Care Center in Cresco, Iowa. Luwane was born on February 2, 1933 in Saratoga Township, Iowa to Oscar and Nellie (Roper) Blomgren. Luwane loved flowers, listening to and watching birds, and viewing hummingbirds out of her front window. She also had lots of fun watching Tiger Woods play golf. Her big enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her nine children, Rose (Roger) Enestvedt of Sacred Heart, MN, Allen (Karen) Gaul of rural Cresco, IA, Vivian (Doug) Richards of Lake Mils, IA, Mike (Deb) Gaul of Nora Springs, IA, Geri (Tom) Weaklen of Anamosa, IA, Joan Gaul of Cresco, IA, Duane (Michelle) Gaul of New Hampton, IA, Annette (Mike) Duryee of Cresco, IA, and Joe Gaul of Cresco, IA, 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, her twin sister Elaine Gaul, two half sisters, Benita (Bill) Carney and Peggy (Carl) Wentworth, a step-sister Joanne Stockdale, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, her parents, 3 grandchildren, her brother Austin, and her sister Grace.

Cemetery:
Burial will be at the St. Agnes Cemetery.
