David B. Sorsen, age 56, of Cresco, IA, died Thursday, October 25, 2012, at his home. David was born May 14, 1956 in Southfield, MI, the son of Arthur and Kathlyn (Tellefsen) Sorsen. He married Judith Ann Beth, they later divorced. David spent 20 years in the Navy and was proud to be a sailor. He has lived in Cresco since 2001. When he first moved to Cresco he was active weekends hosting Karaoke at the Pitt Stop as Joker Dave. He loved taking Missy, his black lab on long walks. Being a patriot he always kept on the look out for flags that needed replacing or lit. David is survived by 2 sons that he dearly loved, Matthew (Gina) Sorsen of La Crosse, WI and Michael Sorsen of Honolulu, HI and other relatives in Michigan. He was looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild. David is preceded in death by his parents.
