Edwin Picket after a long and tedious illness breathed his last Oct. 9, at 11:30 o’clock His remains was taken to Minnesota for interment, beside his first wife. He was past 80 years of age. Alvin West a near neighbor and intimate friend of Mr. Picket who had visited him very often during his long illness expressed a wish that they might journey together to the better land. As if in response to his wish he was taken ill a short time before, Mr. Pickets demise, and died Oct.15th aged 81 years and 11 mouths.
