Pamela Marie McAllister, 45, of Cresco, IA passed away at her home on July 16, 2011 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Pamela Marie Scholbrock McAllister was born on September 14, 1965 in Cresco, IA to Wayne and Jayne (Ness) Scholbrock. On June 2nd, 1984, she married Michael Thomas McAllister and to that union four children were born, Steven, Jessica, Nathan and Erin.

Pamela spent many years catering out of the family home prior to establishing The Heritage Events Center where she enjoyed her cooking and baking for many, as she was well known for her cheesecakes, scotcharoos, fried chicken and potato salad. Pamela was very proud of all of her children and their accomplishments. She truly loved spending as much time as possible with her grandsons and the rest of her family. Pamela was an amazing woman that always had a genuine smile on her face.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Michael of Cresco, IA; Four children, Steven (Aylse) McAllister of Paton, IA, Jessica (Israel) Balik of Cresco, IA, Nathan McAllister of Newport News, VA, and Erin McAllister of Cresco, IA; Two grandsons, Brock Balik and Sawyer McAllister; Parents, Wayne and Jayne Scholbrock; and two brothers, Rick (Sandra) Scholbrock and Troy (Steph) Scholbrock.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Charles and Elise Ness and her paternal grandparents Clem and Dorothy Scholbrock.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco.

Visitation:
Friends may call at the Heritage Events Center in Cresco from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Service:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Notre Dame Parish in Cresco, Iowa.
