Eudora M. Libbey, daughter of Ivory and Beuhlah Libbey, was born on a farm in Winnesheik{sp} county, Iowa, April 3, 1860, and passed away at her home in Cresco, Nov. 17, 1914, being 54 years, 7 months and 14 days of age. She was married December 31st, 1879, to John Walton. Mrs. Walton was a devoted wife; her life was filled with kindness and thoughtfulness of others, and she was always ready to help a good cause in whatever way she could. Besiees{sic} a loving husband, she leaves to mourn her loss two sisters, Mrs. Henry Betts and Mrs. Henry Webber, and two brothers, Milton and Roy Libbey, and a host of friends and neighbors.
The funeral services were conducted from the late home in charge of Rev. Will Kerwin, of the Methodist church,
and interment was made in Oak Lawn cemetery.
