Peter Dukelow was born in County Cork, Ireland, Dec. 23, 1830, and died in peace at the home of his daughter near Ridgeway, Aug. 24, 1914, aged 83 years, 8 months and 1 day,
When but 13 years of age he came to America and after living 7 years at Rochester. N. Y., be moved to Dodge county, Wisconsin.
There he was married to Miss Phillys Gallager. Jan. 7, 1862. Ten fears later they moved to Iowa and made their home on a farm near Bonair until in, 1894 they moved to Cresco.
Unto them 6 children were born, three sons and three daughters.
Two boys died in infancy, one son and daughter died in childhood. Anna grew up to womanhood but passed away in 1899.
His companion departed this life in 1909. He is survived by an only daughter Mrs. Jennie Goth, and a granddaughter, Miss Ada Prann who mourn his departure.
Mr. Dukelow was reared in the Christian faith through the Episcopal church, and while living in Cresco was a regular attendant of the Baptist church, but while with his daughter near Ridgeway attended the Evangelical church. . . .
