Young Mother Called.
Mrs. M. C. Robinson passed away Wednesday of last week at Mercy hospital, Dubuque. Her death drew forth expressions of profound sorrow and sympathy. A few months ago her life was crowned with the unutterable joy of motherhood’s priceless crown, but she emerged from the "valley of the shadow" only to be denied an opportunity to shower her love upon her newly-born infant son. After a brave struggle to regain health through weary weeks of pain and anguish she went to that better land where is known "no sorrow, nor day, nor night."
To the heart-broken young husband and father the community offers the most sincere condolence. His devotion and sacrifice and loyal attention was most unselfish and entire, and with his tears are mingled the genuine grief of our people, and the tender solicitude for the motherless, infant son.
The funeral was held last week at Cresco, and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery.
Nature sorrows when a mother dies.
No sorrow is as great as this—
Beyond the clouds, beyond the skies
She dwells in Heaven's bliss.
— Waukon Republican.
