Georgie A. Burgess, age 68 of Cresco died Friday, February 24, 2017 in Rochester, Minnesota.

Georgie was born May 30, 1948 in Algona, Iowa to William and Mary (Border) Rickard.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck of Cresco; three children: Allen T. Burgess of Florida, James Burgess of Cresco and Mary (Mike) Kaletka of Cresco; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way. She is also survived by three siblings: Larry (Shirley) Rickard of Cresco, Gary Rickard of Austin, MN, and Rosemary Briney of Colorado and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Donald Rickard, Richard Rickard and Margaret Bulmer.
