CEDAR . RAPIDS ~ Kennedy Tylee, 29-day-old daughter of Brandon and Brenda (Lukes) Tylee, died Sunday, May 28 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City from a heart-related condition.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Protivin, with Rev. Allen Schmitt as celebrant. Marlene Pecinovsky was organist, accompanying the Holy Trinity Choir. Music selections were "Father Of Peace”, "I Will Never Forget You", "Amazing Grace" and "You Are Near", "Angels Among Us" was sung after Communion by family friend, Dan Murphy.

Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery with Tony Green and Brian Weber as pallbearers.

Visitation was held 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Hugeback's Protivin Funeral Home.

Survivors include her parents, Brandon and Brenda Tylee, Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Ray and Joyce Lukes, Protivin, Steve and Tammy McCauley, Cedar Rapids; paternal great-grandmother, Betty Tylee, New Hampton; paternal great-grandmother, Sandra Wells, Cedar Rapids; maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Goldsberry, Pueblo, CO.
