Services held for Irene Lundak, 86

Funeral services for Irene Lundak of Cresco will be held at 10:30 a.m. today Wednesday, August 16 at the First Congregational Church in Cresco. Rev. Tim Sir will officiate. Interment will be in New Oregon Cemetery at Cresco. Lindstrom Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Irene, 86, died Sunday, August 13, 2000 at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea, MN of natural causes.

Irene V. Lunak{sic} was born April 20, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Emma Vopava.

On April 27, 1938 she married Rudolph W. Lundak. They resided in Howard County where Irene was a caring homemaker and an avid gardener.

Irene was a long term member of the First Congregational Church and the ZCBJ Lodge #85 of Protivin. Rudolph passed away in 1985. Irene lived at the Howard County Residential Care Facility for ten years and then moved to the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea in 1996.

Survivors include three sons: John of Pine Island, MN, David of Albert Lea and Eugene of Houston, MN; ten grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; four step greatgrandchildren; and one sister: Geor-gina Hubka of Cresco.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph; her parents; and one sister: Emily Voyna
