Services held for Dolores Lamber, 68

Dolores L. Lamber, 68, of Beloit, Wis., died Wed., Sept. 27, 2000 in Monroe Manor, Monroe, Wis.

She was born Dec. 14, 1931 in Howard County, Iowa, the daughter of John W. and Zeffie E. Ford Warburton. Dolores married Eugene B. Lamber on Dec. 9, 1967 in Mountain View, Cal. He predeceased her on Nov. 30, 1991.

Dolores was formerly employed by Freeman Shoe Company for 13 years as an assembler, and later by Hewlett-Packard Electronics as a scheduler for 12 years, retiring in 1989.

Dolores was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, volunteering there and wherever else she could be of help. She worked for Beloit Chore Service for 8 1/2 years.

Survivors include four sisters, Evelyn (Harold) Anderson and Grace Warburton, both of Riceville, Iowa, and Maryetta Mentel of Waterloo, Iowa; two brothers, Walter Warburton and Dale (Kathryn) Warburton, both of Riceville; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends in the Beloit area, especially Uncle Ben Kobus, Lucille Cuff and family and Jeanne and James Grathwohl.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was Sat., Sept. 30, 2000 in St. Jude Catholic Church, Beloit, with Fr. Bill Connell officiating. Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Associates Funeral Home, Beloit, Wis., assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to St. Jude Catholic Church or Brother Dutton Elementary School.
