Funeral sevrices for Wilma Herold were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21 at the St. Joseph Worship Center in Cresco. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Wilma, 83, died Wednesday, October 18, 2000 at Regional Health Services of Howard County Hospital in Cresco.

Wilma Rose Herold was born on January 1, 1917, in.New Hampton, the daughter of William M. and Gertrude (Slebiska) Herold. She graduated from the Cresco High School in 1941.

Wilma was a member of St. Joseph Worship Center and the Rosary Society.

Her hobbies included drawing, putting together puzzles and reading.

She is survived by one brother: Kenneth of Las Vegas, NV; and one sister: Vivian Walech of Dubuque.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Elroy.
