Leona I. Arndt, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was bom August 21, 1914, in Maple Leaf, daughter of Fred and Emma Anderlik Lauck. She married Elbert Arndt on June 28, 1938, in Maple Leaf, He died September 8, 1982.
She is survived by a son, Ronald of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Marlene Samec of Cedar Falls, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Leota Lubbert of Riceville and Viola Miller and Gladys Bartels, both of Waterloo.
Services were Friday, March 10, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
