Services held for Adella Andera

Funeral services for Adella Andera of Protivin were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 18 at the Holy Trinity Worship Center in Protivin. The Rev. Allen M. Schmitt officiated. Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Protivin. Pall bearers were: Merlin Andera, Norbert Ira, Norman Ira, Edward Mikota, Larry Mikota and Dean Hubka. Conway Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Adella, 87, died Saturday, January 15, 2000 at Regional Health Services Hospital in Cresco.

Adella A. Andera was born June 25, 1912 at Protivin the daughter of John F. and Stella (Hubka) Andera. She was baptized and confirmed in her faith at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church to which she was a member her entire life. She graduated from Rudolphinium High School in Protivin in 1929. She was a telephone operator and for twenty years before her retirement, she was a postal clerk at the Protivin Post Office.

Adella was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Protivin, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and the Holy Trinity Rosary Society.

Adella was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Alois.
